Independence Day Activities abounded at MYC for 2015!  Friday night MYC supplied the sides and soft drinks (thanks to the Hemmendingers) and members brought the rest.  60-70 people took advantage of the opportunity and lots of grilling was going on!  This was all followed by the fireworks with the best seats in town!

Saturday was the Larry Lawrence Pancake where the Dubucs and some new members the Honors cooked up a great feast for 30-40 of their best friends.  As usual, it was yummy and no one walked away hungry!

After breakfast, some members decorated their boats and sailed around on the lake, followed by some games on the water and back on shore (thanks to the McNeffs).  See more pictures here.

Sunday we had regular racing with 7 Flying Scots and 4 Lasers with some fluky wind and places changing many times before each race ended.  By all accounts it was a fun weekend at the club.  Hope you got to enjoy some of it!

Eleven Flying Scots and 2 lasers were on the line for Sunday MYC racing on 6/14.  The weather was picture perfect and the racing was awesome.  The lead changed many times and you never knew if you got the lead if there was any way you were going to keep it.  Most of the time the lead boat did NOT keep the lead.  Harvey and Margy Davidson had a great day on the water, with this being Margy's first time back on the boat in a few years!  Congrats to them on their finish in Race 2!  A perfect day on the water!
